Tom founded Hair Repair Club in 2014 after experiencing hair loss himself and discovering the transformative effect of non-surgical hair replacement. What started as a personal mission became a professional one — and then a global one.
Over the past decade Tom has built HRC from a single treatment room in Derby into the world's most recognised non-surgical hair repair brand. 36 locations. 12+ countries. 500+ trained professionals. Channel 4. And still the most hands-on person in the building.
Tom personally trains every new cohort, leads the mentorship programme, reviews every franchise application, and remains directly involved in the day-to-day at Derby HQ. The brand is built on his authenticity — and that hasn't changed.
Kyle is one of HRC's most experienced specialists and a cornerstone of the Derby HQ team. Trained directly under Tom, he has been behind hundreds of fittings and carries the same exacting standard to every appointment — whether it's a client's first fitting or their fiftieth maintenance visit.
Kyle also delivers 1:1 mentorship sessions for professionals looking to develop their technique and build confidence with clients. His straightforward, practical approach makes him one of the most sought-after voices in the HRC network.
Fletch is the specialist clients at Derby HQ describe when they talk about results that are genuinely undetectable. His cutting and blending technique is what separates a hair system that looks natural from one that looks exactly like what it is — and it's the reason his appointment slots fill up fast.
Beyond his work with clients, Fletch contributes directly to the online video course — the techniques you see demonstrated are his. He also offers 1:1 mentorship sessions, particularly for professionals wanting to master the cutting and styling side of hair systems.
Ted has become one of the most consistently reviewed specialists at Derby HQ — clients return to him visit after visit, and it shows in the feedback. His approach is calm, precise and client-focused, with a real understanding of what people are looking for when they walk through the door.
Ted covers the full range of HRC services at Derby — system fittings, maintenance appointments, recolours and everything in between. Another product of Tom's training programme and the standard it sets.
Simon is part of the Derby HQ team and delivers the full range of HRC services to a growing base of regular clients. Trained to the HRC standard under Tom, his attention to detail and consistency keep clients coming back.
