Our Story — Hair Repair Club

Our Story

Built from experience.
Driven by confidence.

Hair Repair Club didn’t begin as a business plan. It began with Tom — a man who lost his hair, searched everywhere for a real solution, and decided to build one himself.

“I didn’t want to hide it. I wanted to fix it — properly, naturally, permanently. When I found a way, I knew I had to share it.”

2014 Where it all started

Ten years. One mission. Millions of reasons.

From a single treatment room in Derby to a global network spanning three continents, this is the story of how Hair Repair Club grew from a personal solution into a worldwide movement.

2014

The Beginning

Tom discovers non-surgical hair replacement — and changes his life.

After years of trying everything from products to prescriptions, Tom discovers non-surgical hair systems. The transformation isn’t just physical — it’s total. He decides this needs to be accessible to every man who’s been where he’s been.

2015

First Clients

Hair Repair Club opens its first treatment room in Derby.

Word spreads fast. Men who’ve spent years avoiding mirrors are leaving the Derby studio with their confidence restored. Tom is booked weeks out within months of opening.

2017

Training Begins

The first professionals are trained under the HRC method.

Other barbers and salon owners start asking Tom how he does it. He formalises his technique into a structured training programme — the first of hundreds of courses he will go on to deliver.

2019

National Reach

HRC expands beyond Derby — Newcastle, London, Cambridge open.

With a growing waiting list and an unstoppable reputation, HRC opens new locations across the UK. The brand becomes recognised as the country’s most trusted non-surgical hair repair specialist.

2021

Channel 4

HRC appears on national television — GK Barry & Nella Rose bring Konan in.

The Channel 4 feature introduces millions of viewers to non-surgical hair repair for the first time. HRC’s enquiries skyrocket overnight. Tom handles every one personally.

World’s #1

36 locations. 12+ countries. One unwavering mission.

Hair Repair Club is the world’s leading non-surgical hair repair and training brand. From Derby to Dubai, Melbourne to Maryland — wherever you are, a Hair Repair Club specialist is within reach. And we’re just getting started.

What we stand for.

Every decision we make — from how we train our professionals to how we treat every client who walks through our doors — comes back to the same three things.

01

Authenticity over everything

Tom built this brand by being honest about his own experience. We don’t sell false hope or miracle cures. We deliver real, natural, undetectable results — and we stand behind every one of them.

02

Confidence is the product

Hair is the surface. Confidence is what we’re actually restoring. Every fitting, every training course, every product we make is designed with that outcome in mind — how the person feels when they leave.

03

Raising the standard globally

The non-surgical hair industry has too many people doing it badly. We train professionals to the highest possible standard so that wherever our name is on the door, clients know exactly what they’re getting.

“Everyone deserves to feel confident in their own skin. That’s not a tagline — it’s the reason Hair Repair Club exists.

In the Spotlight

When the nation took notice.

In 2021, Hair Repair Club appeared on Channel 4 — and overnight, millions of people discovered that non-surgical hair repair was a real, natural, and accessible option.

Tom’s approach — calm, genuine, results-focused — resonated far beyond the barbershop. The segment went viral. The waiting list tripled. And the conversation around male hair loss changed permanently.

It wasn’t the first time HRC made headlines. It won’t be the last.
