What is non-surgical hair repair?
Non-surgical hair repair is the application of a high-quality hair system to restore a full, natural-looking hairline, with no surgery, no medication and no side effects.
A hair system is a carefully matched piece of natural or synthetic hair that is bonded securely to your scalp. The result is completely undetectable, you can swim, exercise and live your life as normal. It's maintained with a regular refit appointment every 4–6 weeks.
Is it obvious that I'm wearing a hair system?
No, when fitted and cut correctly by an HRC-trained specialist, a hair system is completely undetectable. The key is in the cut and blend. Most people who come to HRC have seen results online and couldn't tell the difference themselves.
How long does a hair system last?
A well-maintained hair system typically lasts 3–6 months before it needs replacing. With proper aftercare you can extend that lifespan significantly. The bond and tape will need refreshing every 4–6 weeks at a maintenance appointment.
Can I swim, shower and exercise with it?
Yes. Once fitted and properly bonded, a hair system is secure enough for everyday physical activity including swimming, showering, exercising and sleeping. You do not need to remove it between maintenance appointments.
How do I book a session?
Find your nearest HRC location on the locator, each location lists its preferred booking channel (Booksy, online deposit, or direct call). For general enquiries email support@hairrepairclub.co.uk.
How much does a hair repair session cost?
Pricing varies by location and service. As a guide, an initial fitting is more involved than a maintenance refit. Most clients settle into a regular 4–6 week maintenance schedule, which becomes a straightforward recurring cost.
What happens at my first appointment?
Full consultation, colour and density matching, the fitting itself, and a cut and blend to make the result look completely natural. Your specialist will also walk you through aftercare, the maintenance schedule and what to expect.
It's a longer appointment than a standard refit, allow 2–3 hours.
Is hair repair suitable for all types of hair loss?
Hair systems work for most types of hair loss, male pattern baldness at any stage, receding hairlines, thinning at the crown and more extensive hair loss. The system is matched to your existing hair colour, texture and density so the result blends seamlessly.
Where are your locations?

Do I need experience to attend the Core Certification?
No prior experience with hair systems is required. The Core Certification is designed to take you from zero to client-ready in a single intensive day. Tom has trained barbers, hairdressers, salon owners and complete career changers to the same standard. You do need to be willing to practise hands-on, this isn't a classroom course.
What does the Core Certification include?
The full day covers: client consultation and assessment, system selection and ordering, scalp preparation, bond and tape attachment, cutting and blending, styling and finishing, aftercare and maintenance, and pricing your services.
You leave with your HRC Core Certification (reviewed and issued by Tom and Fletch personally), all training materials, lunch and refreshments, and a listing on the HRC global locator.
What's the difference between Core, Refresher and Cutting Day?
Core Certification (£2,995), the complete 0–100 training day.
Refresher Course (£1,795), for practitioners who already work with systems and want to sharpen technique.
Cutting Masterclass (£995), a focused half-day on cutting and blending only.
Is there an online version of the course?
Yes. The HRC Online Video Course (£995) is hosted on the HRC Academy platform and covers the same curriculum as the in-person course, filmed by Tom and Fletch on real clients at HRC HQ. Lifetime access.
What is the Elite Accelerator?
The Elite Accelerator (£12,995/year) is HRC's most intensive programme, a full year with Tom, limited to a small number of partners per intake. Includes Core Certification, the full online course, four shadow days at HRC HQ per year, 1:1 access to Tom, client referrals from day one, and Tom's complete playbook.
Can I book a 1:1 mentorship call?
Yes. Mentorship calls with Tom (£145) or Fletch (£89) are available to anyone, no prior HRC training required.
How do clients find me after I'm certified?
All HRC-certified specialists can apply for listing on the HRC global locator. HRC refers clients directly to the nearest certified specialist.
Who founded Hair Repair Club?
Hair Repair Club was founded by Tom in 2015. Tom began losing his hair in his early twenties and tried everything, products, prescriptions, treatments, before discovering non-surgical hair systems. He spent his early HRC years working at Rolls-Royce by day and fitting systems from his garden shed by evening.
